If you were to purchase a home at the $165,000.00 price point with an interest rate of 4.750% you would be looking at a payment of approximately $860.00 principal & interest this would NOT include your taxes & insurance as they would be different depending on the insurance company that you choose and the area for taxes.
I used 4.75% which is currently higher than the going rate…but eventually interest rates will start creeping up…..
Today in the Jack Britt school district there are 7 homes on the market in the $160,000.00-$165,000.00 range. The sq. ft. of these homes range from 1500 sq. ft. to 2200 sq. ft
