
Curious about what is going on in the real estate market in Cumberland County? Here is June 2025 residential sales report. Days on market are up from last year, so it will take a little longer to sell than we have seen in the last couple of years. Higher priced homes will take a little longer than the average, and lower priced homes will likely sell faster if in the condition that it needs to be for the price. BUT the average sale price is up, as well as the median sales price!
What does this mean for sellers? It is still a good time to sell to get the most for your long term investment. Prices are continuing to increase but at a slower pace at the moment.
Buyers, it will cost a little more than last year to purchase, but investing in real estate is always the way to go!
Rates? It is what it is. It’s better than paying 100% interest when renting. We are all hoping at some point in the future that we will see better rates. But when/if that happens my prediction is that we will see home prices trend up again.
If selling your home is keeping you from the next adventure, just do it. If you want to own your own home there is no better time than now. None of us are promised tomorrow so do the most you can with TODAY!
